Safely Arrived

It is now early Tuesday morning, and the team arrived safely yesterday afternoon to Narita. Our hosts provided a bus to take the team to the Overseas Vocational Training Association (OVTA), where the mentors will be staying for the duration of the Olympiad. We registered and received our name tags and bags of information. The students were then transported to the National Youth Center (NYC, not New York City), where they will be staying. The mentors will go there later this morning for the Opening Ceremony and Welcome lunch. We will then be sequestered from the students until after the exams.

We will write a longer report (with pictures, hopefully) later today, but we want everyone to know we are safely here and excited to begin!
